The SAPPHIRE Clinical Manager mirrors clinician workflow by providing comprehensive order management and results reporting. All orders from simple to complex can be implemented and maintained via the order template tool.

This is one-stop for all ancillary orders including dietary, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, patient care and therapy orders. Order sets and cascading orders are included as well as a wide-range of charging and notification options. Duplicate order checking as well as conflict screening for drug-drug, drug-food and drug-allergy interactions occurs during the order management process.

The SAPPHIRE Clinical Manager is also your repository for all clinical data and patient results. Clinicians are one click away from viewing laboratory, radiology, and PACS results. Numeric results can also be trended to show values across the care continuum.

An imbedded rules engine takes order and results information and display that as alerts and reminders. Abnormal lab results and narcotic renewals are a few examples. No need to search for those items, they are triggered in the system and display in the clinicians home page upon login.

With Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE), clinicians are not tied to a paper chart to track patient care and assess results. SAPPHIRE's CPOE is automatic, using flexible templates. Through our easy-to-use solution suite, clinicians can expedite order entry and eliminate time-intensive, redundant processes. Physicians, nurses, and pharmacists can communicate, receive, and note patient care decisions more efficiently and effectively in the EMR through CPOE.
