O’Pry to give talk on EHR optimization

Virginia Beach, Va. Mr. O’Pry will present “EHR implementation techniques and strategies to maximize an EHR” during the late morning hospital workshop session.

The HIT Executive Summit brings together a blue-ribbon roster of speakers including Hon. Luis Fortuno, Governor of Puerto Rico, Dr. Lorenzo Gonzalez, Puerto Rico Secretary of Health and Dr. David Blumenthal, National Coordinator for Health Information, HHS.

Mr. O’Pry will cover lessons learned in EHR optimization such as post-implementation assessment, clinician adoption, end-user complaint management, prioritization and resolution as well as ongoing planning, internal communications, governance and clinical workflow metrics. Other sessions include “Selection and Implementation of a Certified EHR” and “Health Information Exchange in Puerto Rico.”
